Experimenting with album covers

This is the final idea for our album cover.
The two main Album covers that we were having trouble deciding over were these two, the bigger one is the one that we eventually went with. However after showing our teacher, she said she didn't like the font as it was unprofessional. So we changed it to the image you can see above.

Seeing as we were having trouble deciding over the two, I though that asking our target audience which one they prefer, would make up my mind. So i posted both potential album covers on instagram and these were the replies I got..

Here is the feedback I got when i asked my target audience which album cover they preferred. Everyone preferred the top one, so we will choose that one. This was useful because we were originally leaning slightly more towards the bottom one. It is helpful to know what your target audience prefer before you make your choice.

This was another idea for an album cover that we had

Here is a  picture that we took, but didn't end up using.

This album cover is so similar to the idea that we are going to use for our digipak.  our video is about this girl with an alter ego and our cover was going to be about this girl sitting on top of a piano but the interesting thing is that there are two of her on that piano. this really reflects the alter ego thing because the two people on the piano are different people.

This is our rough idea for our digipak. At first our digipak was going to reflect alter egos but we've now thought about it and we've decided that our artist sitting on the piano will reflect our pitch better which is about a girl who's lost her self confidence.
